The UA Swing Support System is the cornerstone of the Drive Pro Wide, integrating smarter traction, dual-foam cushioning, and a secure lacing structure into a single, cohesive platform. S3 is engineered to respond to the forces generated during a full golf swing, channelling energy where it is needed most and reducing the risk of foot slippage at the critical moment of impact. The result is a shoe that feels locked in from address to follow-through, helping you maintain consistent posture and power transfer throughout your round.

Swing Support Strap & Reinforced Upper

The Swing Support Strap works in conjunction with structural reinforcement built into the upper to create a biomechanically correct lockdown around the midfoot and heel. This system prevents unwanted lateral movement inside the shoe during the rotational demands of the golf swing, ensuring that every ounce of power generated by your lower body is transferred efficiently into the ball. The reinforced upper also adds a layer of durability that holds its shape over a long season of play.

UA HOVR™ & Charged Cushioning®

Under Armour's UA HOVR™ foam delivers a near-zero gravity feel underfoot, compressing and rebounding with each step to return energy back to the foot and reduce muscle fatigue over the course of 18 holes. Working in tandem, Charged Cushioning® absorbs impact at heel strike and converts that energy into a smooth, forward-propelling ride. The new Under Armour S3 spikes were co-developed with Softspikes® and a specialist golf biomechanist to deliver revolutionary directional traction precisely where the foot needs it during the swing. Unlike traditional spikes that provide uniform grip in all directions, S3 spikes are shaped to resist the specific rotational and lateral forces generated by a golf swing, keeping the foot planted at the ground-shoe interface. This targeted approach to traction translates directly into improved swing consistency, greater power transfer, and more confidence when playing from a variety of lies and conditions.

Performance Outsole with Flex Grooves & TPU Support

The outsole of the Drive Pro Wide is engineered with strategically placed flex grooves that allow the shoe to bend naturally with the foot during walking and address, without compromising rigidity at the key rotational zones of the swing. Secondary traction elements between the spike positions provide additional grip on firm or slippery surfaces, while TPU reinforcement along the lateral edges adds crucial support during the weight-bearing impact phase of the downswing. This combination ensures the shoe remains stable and responsive across different turf conditions and course surfaces.

Waterproof Microfibre Upper with One-Year Guarantee

The Drive Pro Wide features a breathable, supportive microfibre upper that keeps the shoe lightweight and comfortable while providing the structure needed to resist the lateral forces of the swing. Integrated within the upper is a fully waterproof membrane that prevents moisture penetration from wet fairways, heavy dew, or light rain, keeping your feet dry and comfortable throughout the round. Under Armour backs the waterproofing with a one-year waterproof guarantee, giving you confidence that the shoe will perform in wet conditions for at least a full season.
