This innovative design compensates automatically for the natural tendency of golfers to add or reduce loft through impact by leaning the shaft forward or backward. Wherever the ball contacts the face, DLT delivers a consistent launch angle and immediate, true roll — eliminating the skipping and bouncing that plague conventional single-loft putter faces and making the Cuda remarkably forgiving across all stroke types.
Adjustable Sole Weighting
The Cobra KING Vintage Cuda ships with two 10g sole weights pre-installed, giving golfers a 365g stock head weight that suits the majority of players straight out of the box. Each weight can be swapped for lighter or heavier options — available in 5g, 15g, 20g, and 25g — allowing individual head weight adjustment of +15g or -5g per weight, for a total swing range of +30g to -10g from the stock configuration. This level of personalization lets golfers precisely dial in the feel, swing weight, and stability that suits their stroke tempo and green conditions. Additional weights are sold separately.
Single Bend Hosel
The Single Bend hosel geometry of the Cobra KING Vintage Cuda is engineered to position the shaft in a straight line through the center of the head, resulting in a face-balanced setup and zero degrees of toe hang. This configuration is ideally suited to golfers who putt with a straight-back, straight-through stroke, as the face-balanced weighting naturally resists rotation and keeps the face square throughout the entire putting motion. Every Cobra KING Vintage Cuda comes fitted with the KBS 120 Steel Putter shaft (.370 tip, 120g), a purpose-built putter shaft that provides a stable, consistent feel and excellent energy transfer through impact. The SuperStroke Traxion Tour 2.0 grip (55g) completes the package — its parallel, non-tapered design eliminates grip pressure variations that can cause the wrists to break down, while the tactile Traxion surface provides a confident, secure hold in all conditions. Together, shaft and grip are calibrated to complement the Cuda's head weight for a perfectly balanced total package.
