The ECCO MTN GRIP is a progressive, spikeless outsole engineered specifically for the demands of the golf swing. It is divided into three functional zones: a traction zone for grip and ground contact, a stability zone for lateral support during weight transfer, and a rotational support zone at the toe to facilitate a natural follow-through. The wider outsole design maximises surface contact with the turf for a stable, grounded feel. The multi-directional lugs perform equally well on wet morning grass and dry summer fairways, making the Biom C4 a true all-conditions performer.
The upper of the Biom C4 combines two premium materials for the best of both worlds. ECCO Performance Leather — developed and tanned in ECCO's own tanneries — provides exceptional durability, shape retention and a premium feel. The Biom C4 is fitted with a removable OrthoLite® insole that provides long-term cushioning and additional breathability underfoot. OrthoLite® is an open-cell foam technology that resists compression over time, maintaining its loft and comfort round after round. Crucially, the insole can be removed entirely — either to accommodate a custom or prescription orthotic, or simply to gain a little extra volume and width inside the shoe. This adaptability makes the Biom C4 accessible to a wider range of foot shapes and widths, even in its standard-width fit.
