ECCO LYTR Foam Technology

At the heart of the ECCO GOLF LT1 is the newly developed ECCO LYTR foam — a high-performance material engineered for exceptional energy return and plush softness with every step. Unlike conventional EVA foams, LYTR delivers a noticeably more responsive feel underfoot while maintaining a featherlight weight. The foam is directly injected into the midsole structure using the proprietary FLUIDFORM™ process, creating an inseparable bond between the foam and the shoe's upper. This means no glue lines, no delamination risk, and a shoe that retains its structural integrity round after round. The result is a midsole that feels as fresh on hole 18 as it did on the first tee.

FLUIDFORM™ Direct-Inject Construction

FLUIDFORM™ is ECCO's signature midsole manufacturing technology that eliminates the traditional assembly process by directly injecting the midsole material around and through the lasted upper. This revolutionary approach creates an anatomical, contoured fit that wraps the foot naturally rather than conforming to a generic last shape. E-DTS™ NET Outsole

During the golf swing, lateral forces place significant stress on the footwear structure — X-TENSA INVISIBLE resists these forces and keeps the foot securely positioned within the shoe for a more consistent and powerful swing foundation. Waterproof Membrane & ECCO Performance Leather

The ECCO GOLF LT1 pairs a fully waterproof membrane with a breathable ECCO Performance Leather upper to keep feet dry and comfortable in all weather conditions. The membrane is positioned between the inner lining and the outer leather, blocking moisture ingress while still allowing internal vapour to escape — preventing the clammy, uncomfortable feeling that can arise during long rounds in humid or wet conditions. The ECCO Performance Leather itself is carefully selected for its natural breathability, suppleness, and durability, providing a premium appearance and a foot-hugging fit that softens and moulds with wear. The combination delivers a shoe that looks as refined as a dress sneaker while performing as a serious piece of golf equipment.

Removable OrthoLite® Insole

The removable OrthoLite® insole provides an additional layer of long-term cushioning and breathability that complements the LYTR foam midsole beneath it. OrthoLite® is a globally recognised open-cell foam technology that resists compression set over time, meaning the cushioning remains effective throughout the life of the shoe rather than flattening out after the first few months of use. The insole's open-cell structure promotes air circulation around the foot, reducing heat build-up and moisture retention inside the shoe. As an added practical benefit, the insole can be removed entirely to create extra volume within the shoe — ideal for golfers with a wider foot or those who prefer to use custom orthotics.
