Each colour in the chart represents a specific combination of club specifications, primarily lie angle and shaft length. Grip size is also an important component of a complete fitting.
Lie Angle: The lie angle is the angle between the shaft and the ground at impact. An incorrect lie angle causes the toe or heel to contact the turf first, deflecting the face and sending shots off line. A correctly fitted lie angle ensures the sole sits flat at impact for accurate, straight shots.
