The new Dyla-Grip and lightweight Z-Z115 steel shaft are engineered as a complete system to enhance wedge performance. The proprietary Dyla-Grip is 3/4" longer with a reduced taper and is marked with indicators for gripping down, leaning the shaft, and manipulating the face for greater greenside versatility. Its low balance point promotes better feel for the clubhead throughout the swing. The PING Alta CB Blue graphite shaft is also available as a lightweight option suited to recreational players or those with a slower swing speed.

The PING Colour Code Chart is a fitting tool used to determine the optimal iron and wedge specifications based on a golfer's physical measurements (height and wrist-to-floor distance) and swing dynamics. Each colour in the chart corresponds to a specific combination of specifications — primarily lie angle and shaft length — ensuring the club works with your natural posture and swing plane rather than against it.
Using the colour code chart, golfers and fitters can identify the appropriate colour code for an individual player. For example, a taller golfer with a flatter swing may require a different code than a shorter player with a more upright swing. Note that for the Midnight finish, only 5 colour codes are available (from 2° flat / orange, to 2° upright / green).
