Three Tour-validated models are precision-crafted from forged 303 stainless steel and feature a shallow-milled face that delivers a firmer feel for consistency and control. The Anser 4D, Anser 30, and Kushin represent all three primary putting stroke types and use different hosel configurations to match your stroke and eye. They join the wider range of premium PLD Milled (Putting Lab Design) models, all engineered to deliver the consistency that lowers scores on the green.
A precision-milled version of the classic Anser shape with heel-toe weighting and a high moment of inertia (MOI). Players with a slight arc stroke and a tendency to push putts to the right will find it easier to square the face at impact. The shallow-milled face delivers a firmer feel and consistent ball speed across the strike zone.
Each head is fully machined from forged 303 stainless steel, a dense yet soft alloy milled to tight tolerances. This material provides the mass and softness needed for a premium strike feel while keeping consistency tight enough for tour-level play. It is the same base material used across the wider PLD Milled range, including the Anser 4D and Kushin.
The face is shallow-milled to a precise pattern that firms up the feel at impact and keeps ball speed consistent across the strike zone. This milling process is part of PING's PLD (Putting Lab Design) programme, where tour players help validate feel and roll before a model is released. The result is a face built for predictable distance control on the green.
Mass is positioned toward the heel and toe of the head to raise the moment of inertia. A higher MOI resists twisting on strikes away from the center of the face, so ball speed and start line stay more consistent even when contact is not perfect. This makes the Anser 30 a more forgiving option within the classic blade category.
The H1 hosel and full-shaft offset are matched to a Slight Arc stroke, where the putter face opens slightly on the backswing and returns to square at impact. Players with this stroke pattern, including those who tend to push putts to the right, will find it easier to deliver a square face at impact. Matching hosel design to stroke type is central to PING's custom putter fitting approach.
