Titleist Pro V1 2025 golf balls (12 balls)

Titleist Pro V1 2025 golf balls (12 balls)

The 2025 Titleist Pro V1 gives you more opportunities to shoot lower scores with more speed off the tee, more control with your irons, and more spin with your wedges. From core to cover, the Pro V1 is designed and engineered to deliver total performance — the greatest combination of speed, spin, and feel in the game. It is the optimal premium performance choice for most players and the most played golf ball model in golf. Standard play numbers 1, 2, 3, 4.

Key Features

• 3-Piece Construction: A core-to-cover engineering approach delivers total performance across every club in the bag.
• Faster High-Gradient Core: Reformulated for more ball speed, lower long game spin, and steeper spin slope for better scoring club performance.
• Speed-Amplifying High-Flex Casing Layer: Maintains low long game spin off the driver while boosting speed throughout the bag.
• 388 Tetrahedral Dimple Design: Spherically-tiled dimple pattern delivers a flatter, penetrating, and consistent ball flight.
• Soft Cast Urethane Elastomer Cover: Provides legendary soft feel and high short game spin for precise greenside control.
• Mid-Trajectory Flight: Lower flight than the Pro V1x, ideal for players who prefer a more penetrating ball flight.

• Pack of 12: Comes in a standard dozen box with play numbers 1–4.

Why Play Pro V1?

The Pro V1 is recommended for players who may benefit from mid-trajectory flight, very low long game spin and high short game spin, and a softer feel. It is the premium combination of long distance, precise control, and legendary feel — making it the most complete performance choice for the widest range of golfers. Whether you are a low handicapper competing for the course record or a mid-handicapper looking to sharpen your scoring game, the Pro V1 delivers the total package on every shot.

Comparison to Pro V1x

Due to its unique spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimple pattern, the Pro V1 produces a lower ball flight than the Pro V1x. Its softer gradient core delivers a softer feel and slightly less spin than the Pro V1x. Players who prefer a flatter, more penetrating trajectory with that famously soft sensation through impact will find the Pro V1 to be the ideal choice. Those seeking higher flight, more iron spin, and a firmer feel should consider the Pro V1x.

Technology in Detail

Flight — 388 Tetrahedral Dimple Design

The Pro V1's aerodynamic performance is driven by its spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimple design, which produces a flatter, more penetrating trajectory compared to other premium golf balls. This unique pattern creates consistent, stable ball flight in all weather and wind conditions. The lower flight profile helps control dispersion off the tee, keeping the ball on a tight, predictable path from the first drive to the final approach.

Speed & Spin — High-Flex Casing Layer

The speed-amplifying high-flex casing layer is the engineering key to the Pro V1's low long game spin. By flexing efficiently at impact, the casing layer stores and releases energy to boost ball speed off the driver and irons while simultaneously reducing unwanted spin that can cost yards. The result is a ball that goes farther off the tee without sacrificing the responsiveness that defines the Pro V1 experience.

Control — High-Gradient Core

The 2025 Pro V1 features a faster high-gradient core that has been reformulated to steepen the ball's spin slope — maintaining very low spin on full driver swings while generating outstanding iron and wedge spin for precision approach play and greenside control. This broader spin range means you can attack flags with irons, stop the ball quickly on the green with wedges, and still drive the ball with low-spin efficiency off the tee, all from a single ball.

Feel — Soft Cast Urethane Elastomer Cover

The Pro V1's soft cast urethane elastomer cover is the foundation of its legendary feel. This thin, precision-cast layer wraps the ball in a material that communicates feedback through impact — soft and responsive off the putter face, crisp and precise off irons, and silky smooth through wedge shots around the green. The cover also generates the high short game spin that makes the Pro V1 a genuine scoring tool, allowing skilled players to shape shots and control trajectory with confidence.

What Tour Professionals Say About Pro V1

Specifications

Pro V1 vs. Pro V1x — Which Is Right for You?

Choosing between the Pro V1 and Pro V1x comes down to your preferred flight, spin profile, and feel. The Pro V1 flies lower, produces less spin on iron shots, and delivers a softer feel compared to the Pro V1x. The Pro V1 is the right choice if you want a penetrating mid-trajectory flight with a very soft sensation at impact and excellent scoring control. The Pro V1x is recommended for players who benefit from higher flight, more iron spin, and a firmer feel. Neither ball is limited to a specific handicap range — Titleist designs its golf balls to fit individual spin and flight launch conditions, not handicap levels.
