The Wilson Dynapower (DYNAPWR) men's graphite irons are engineered to elevate every aspect of your game, delivering exceptional distance, precision, and forgiveness in a player-appealing head shape. Built on Wilson's legendary Dynapower heritage, these irons combine cutting-edge AI-driven face technology with a hollow-body construction to produce unmatched ball speed and high-launching, forgiving performance. Designed for golfers seeking the ideal combination of fast ball speeds, impressive off-centre forgiveness, and comfort through the swing, the DYNAPWR graphite irons are a compelling choice for mid-to-high handicappers and anyone looking to gain real distance. The graphite shafts are lighter than steel, promoting a faster swing and potentially greater distances without sacrificing feel.
PKR stands for Peak Kinetic Response – the critical moment during impact when the face transitions from absorbing energy to releasing it explosively into the ball. The PKR 360 Cup Face wraps a very thin face insert around the head to create a highly flexible hitting surface. Combined with Wilson's AI-generated Variable Face Technology, the result is a variable-thickness pattern across the entire face that was identified by running thousands of computer simulations. This means virtually the whole face is optimised for hot, fast ball speeds, even on off-centre strikes.
The Velocity Optimization Channel is a precision-engineered channel located in the sole of the iron, directly behind the face. It acts as a hinge point that allows the face to flex more freely at impact, transferring as much energy as possible directly into the golf ball. Working in close tandem with the PKR 360 Cup Face, the VOC amplifies the trampoline effect and generates maximum ball speeds across the face. Even from tight lies or tricky positions, the VOC helps ensure powerful, consistent ball flight.
The Energy Transfer Chassis is a robust internal support frame positioned at the rear of the iron head. Its primary role is to create a virtual hollow-body construction that underpins the PKR Cup Face, providing the structural backbone needed for face stability during high-flex impacts. By efficiently transferring energy from the swing into the ball, the ETC also improves swing-to-swing consistency and refines the sound and feel at impact to deliver a satisfying, solid sensation.
The hollow-body construction of the DYNAPWR irons allows Wilson's engineers to position the centre of gravity (CG) low in the sole and towards the toe. This low, sole-biased CG promotes a high launch angle and steep descent angles for maximum stopping power on approach shots. Combined with a high Moment of Inertia (MOI), the head remains stable and resists twisting on off-centre hits, preserving ball speed and maintaining directional accuracy even on mishits.
