ECCO LYTR Foam & FLUIDFORM™

At the heart of the Ecco LT1 sits ECCO LYTR, a next-generation advanced rebound foam that is cast directly into the outsole through the brand's proprietary FLUIDFORM™ process. Unlike conventional glued or stitched constructions found in many competing shoes, FLUIDFORM™ pours cushioning PU material directly into the shoe mould, creating a seamless, monolithic bond between the midsole and the leather upper. The result is a construction that is simultaneously lighter, more flexible, and far more durable over time. ECCO LYTR within this system delivers a perceptible spring and energy return with every stride, reducing fatigue across an 18-hole round. The combination of LYTR foam and soft PU in the midsole provides contoured comfort and structural stability that perfectly balances cushioning with ground-feel.

ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Natural Fit

ECCO FLUIDFORM™ technology has been refined over more than three decades of footwear engineering, and in the LT1 it reaches a new level of precision. The process creates an anatomically supportive shape that conforms closely to the natural contours of the foot, resulting in a fit that feels immediately comfortable from the very first wear. Because the midsole material is moulded as one piece with the upper, there are no internal seams or glue layers that can delaminate or degrade with prolonged use. ECCO Performance Leather & Waterproof Membrane

The leather is treated to work in harmony with a waterproof membrane integrated within the upper construction, creating a barrier against rain, dew, and wet-ground conditions while still allowing moisture vapour to escape from inside the shoe.
