ECCO LYTR Foam & FLUIDFORM™ Technology

The heart of the Ecco LT1 is its new ECCO LYTR advanced rebound foam, which is embedded directly into the sole construction through Ecco's proprietary FLUIDFORM™ technology — a process refined over more than three decades. Unlike conventional shoes where the midsole is glued or stitched to the upper, FLUIDFORM™ directly injects the cushioning PU material into the shoe mould, creating a seamless, integral bond between the midsole and the leather upper. The result is a shoe that is naturally flexible, exceptionally durable, and lighter than traditional constructions. The ECCO LYTR foam itself provides an energetic rebound with every step, reducing fatigue over 18 holes. This combination of LYTR rebound foam and FLUIDFORM™ direct-injection construction makes the LT1 one of the most technically advanced golf shoes in Ecco's lineup.

Natural Anatomical Shape & Comfort

Ecco has long been recognised for engineering footwear that works with the natural shape of the human foot rather than constraining it. The FLUIDFORM™ midsole in the LT1 is designed to follow the anatomical contours of the foot, delivering a shaped comfort that supports the arch and heel naturally. The soft PU compound is seamlessly blended within the midsole, offering a plush underfoot feel while maintaining the structural integrity needed for a stable golf stance. Over the course of a long round, this anatomical approach reduces pressure points and hot spots, keeping the golfer comfortable from the first tee to the 18th green. E-DTS™ NET Outsole

The E-DTS™ NET outsole is Ecco's next evolution of its acclaimed E-DTS® (Ecco Dynamic Traction System) platform. Rather than relying on traditional raised cleats or fixed spike positions, the E-DTS NET pattern features a network of multi-directional traction nodes that engage the turf from virtually any angle during the swing. This design delivers reliable grip during the backswing, downswing, and follow-through — even on uneven lies or wet turf. The outsole is constructed from a durable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compound that resists abrasion and provides lightweight flexibility underfoot. The result is a traction system that performs like a spiked shoe while remaining versatile enough for use on paths and clubhouse floors without marking surfaces.

ECCO Performance Leather & Waterproof Membrane

The upper of the Ecco LT1 is crafted from ECCO Performance Leather — a premium, breathable full-grain leather that has been treated and finished specifically for golf use. This leather is soft enough for immediate comfort straight out of the box, yet durable enough to withstand hundreds of rounds of play. It is paired with an integrated waterproof membrane that creates a barrier against moisture penetration, keeping the foot dry during dewy morning rounds or in light rain. Despite its waterproof properties, the membrane is engineered to allow moisture vapour to escape, maintaining a breathable microclimate inside the shoe. The combination of premium leather and waterproof construction means the LT1 performs equally well in summer heat and wet autumn conditions.

X-TENSA INVISIBLE Technology

Hidden within the upper construction of the Ecco LT1 is the X-TENSA INVISIBLE stability system — a discreet internal framework that provides lateral support without adding visible bulk or stiffness to the shoe's silhouette. During the golf swing, significant lateral forces are transferred through the foot, particularly during the downswing and weight transfer phases. The X-TENSA INVISIBLE frame counteracts these forces, keeping the foot stable and properly aligned throughout the swing motion. Because it is entirely concealed within the upper, the technology does not compromise the clean, streamlined look of the LT1. OrthoLite foam delivers long-lasting cushioning that resists compression over time, maintaining its performance properties wash after wash and round after round. The open-cell foam structure of OrthoLite® is highly breathable, wicking moisture away from the foot to keep the interior of the shoe fresh and comfortable even on warm days. Because the insole is fully removable, it also opens up the option of using a custom orthotic insert for golfers who require specific medical or biomechanical support. Removal of the insole also effectively increases the internal volume of the shoe, providing an additional width accommodation option for golfers with wider feet.
