SS14 — the newest iteration of the Studio Stock 14 features essential modifications made by Robert Bettinardi to perfect this classic blade putter. This heel-toe weighted blade offers a distinct appearance from address with its widened flange, flat topline, low-profile shoulders, and newly rounded bumpers that melt off the putter head. The SS14 is equipped with a plumber's neck and full shaft offset that make setup and alignment effortless, while half toe hang facilitates a smooth arc through the putting stroke — ideal for golfers with a moderate arc stroke.
Every Studio Stock Series head is 100% precision milled from a single block of 303 Stainless Steel at Bettinardi's own Tinley Park, IL manufacturing facility. This premium alloy delivers a more durable, responsive, and solid-feeling putter for supreme on-course performance. Each Studio Stock putter ships complete with a custom Tour Grade shaft, a Castleton green Lamkin Sink Fit grip, and a dual-constructed Castleton green and black perforated Studio Stock Series headcover.
The entire 2023–2024 Studio Stock line features Bettinardi's signature Roll Control™ face milling, developed in collaboration with the world's best Tour players. The groove profile features a scientifically engineered asymmetric design that encourages greater topspin at impact, propelling the ball into a true, skid-free roll faster than conventional face milling. The result is a more accurate, consistent putting stroke with exceptional soft feel and precise audible feedback on every putt — whether you are on a fast links green or a slower parkland surface.
Every Studio Stock Series head begins its life as a solid billet of premium 303 Stainless Steel sourced in the United States. The manufacturing process is carried out entirely in Bettinardi's own Tinley Park, Illinois facility, where each putter takes approximately 90 minutes to machine. This hands-on, detail-driven approach — with meticulous quality checks at every machining step — results in a putter that is more durable, more responsive, and more solid-feeling than anything cast or multi-piece. It is the same material preferred by Bettinardi Tour players worldwide.
The Studio Stock Series is completed with Bettinardi's proprietary Diamond Blast surface treatment applied to the topline and body of the putter head. This finish provides a glare-resistant view from address, eliminating distracting reflections when you are standing over a crucial putt. Meanwhile, the face and sole are finished with a high polish that gives the SS14 an unmistakably premium, luxurious presence on the green — a perfect visual counterpoint to the matte topline.
The SS14's plumber's neck hosel and full shaft offset work together to position the hands naturally ahead of the ball at address, simplifying alignment and promoting a clean, consistent impact. The half toe hang (1/2) encourages a smooth, moderate arc through the stroke. Combined with perimeter heel-toe weighting that increases stability and forgiveness on off-center strikes, the SS14 is an exceptionally well-engineered blade putter suited to a wide range of playing styles and skill levels.
