A shallow milled face (featured on the Anser, Kushin 4, Shea, DS72, DS72 C, and Prime Tyne 4) provides a crisp, responsive feel at impact. A smooth milled face on the Tomcat 14 delivers the firmest feel and slightly more ball speed off the face. For golfers who prefer a softer sensation, a PEBAX insert surrounded by a shallow milled face (Anser 2D, Tyne G) provides a plush yet controlled response — and the Fetch uses a PEBAX insert with a smooth milled surround for maximum softness paired with outstanding stability on longer putts.

Multi-Material Mallets

To achieve extreme stability, exceptional MOI, and improved accuracy and consistency, PING's multi-material mallet designs use a pressure die-cast aluminium body bonded to a high-density investment-cast 304 stainless steel sole plate. This construction positions the centre of gravity low and deep in the head, maximising resistance to twisting on off-centre strikes. The Tomcat 14 boasts the highest MOI of any putter in the new PING lineup.
