The Prodi G Fairway Wood is available in right-hand and left-hand models, each offered in a Stiff flex graphite shaft. The club includes a headcover and is sold as an individual club or as part of a Prodi G set — both eligible for PING's exclusive "Get Golf Growing" program.
The Prodi G Fairway Wood is built from a 17-4 stainless steel body paired with a thin, machined 17-4 stainless steel face. With 22 degrees of loft, the Prodi G Fairway Wood is engineered to get the ball airborne quickly and easily, whether hit off the tee or directly off the turf. This generous loft angle reduces the skill barrier for junior golfers and promotes a towering, high-carry ball flight that maximises distance for developing swing speeds. The result is a club that juniors can rely on from the fairway, the rough, or off a tee peg.
Weight has been carefully positioned low and deep within the 17-4 stainless steel head to push the centre of gravity (CG) as far below the face as possible. This low CG promotes naturally high launch angles without requiring a steep attack angle, making it significantly easier for junior golfers to get the ball airborne with their developing swings. The deep CG placement also raises the moment of inertia (MOI), preserving ball speed and direction even on off-centre strikes.
PING's proprietary Spinsistency technology fine-tunes the bulge (horizontal curvature) and roll (vertical curvature) of the face to produce more consistent spin rates across different impact locations. By reducing unwanted spin variation, the ball carries further and lands more predictably — which is especially important for junior players who are still building consistent contact. This technology is borrowed directly from PING's adult G-series fairway woods and refined for junior swing speeds, ensuring longer and more accurate shots from the fairway.
